The Druid's Circle

The adventure is a bit annoying by most standards: a lot of the objects are "hidden" and some "hunt the verb" work is needed.

Note, as memory is tight by default, you may get a "No Room" error some way through the adventure. There's an easy fix: load up the adventure, press ESC and then type:

MODE 7 RUN

We start at the Druid's Circle, head S, S to a stream. EXAMINE STREAM and GET FLINT. Go N and EXAMINE STREAM, OPEN GATE and ENTER MILL. If we EXAMINE MILL we should see a lamp, GET LAMP and LEAVE MILL.

Go N and PULL STATUE to see a dark opening. LIGHT LAMP (with the flint) and ENTER OPENING. Head down the tunnel: E, E, E, E, E, E. At the end, OPEN TRAPDOR and ENTER TRAPDOOR.

We find ourselves in a wooden hut. EXAMINE HUT, GET CLOAK, WEAR CLOAK (this'll allow us to walk around the forest). Now LEAVE HUT.

Head S, S, W, S and CLIMB CLIFF. Then S and CLIMB CLIFF and E to enter a cave. EXAMINE CAVE and GET AXE. Go back to the beach (W, CLIMB CLIFF, N, CLIMB CLIFF).

Now go back to the mill (W, W, W, W, W, N, N, ENTER MILL) and SHARPEN AXE. LEAVE MILL and go S, S, E, E to the riverbank.

We're going to cross the river, please note that there is a limit on the number of moves for the next bit, so follow them in this order. EXAMINE TREE to see a bird's nest, CHOP TREE, to make a bridge over the river, ENTER TREE to cross the river, EXAMINE NEST to find a talisman, then GET TALISMAN.

GET FISHING LINE, then go S, GET DRIFTWOOD, W, N, W and EXAMINE BUSHES to find a secret cave. DROP LAMP and GET LAMP to extinguish the lamp. Now ENTER CAVE and GET EGG SHELL. Leave the cave and go back to the riverbank (N, E, E) and LAUNCH EGG SHELL to get you to the otherside of the river.

Now head to the boathouse (N, N, N) and ENTER BOATHOUSE. EXAMINE BOATHOUSE to find a dingy, ENTER DINGY and UNTIE DINGY. GET ROPE and MAKE LASSOO. Now SAIL DINGY, FISH LAKE and GET SWORD. SAIL DINGY to return to the boathouse and LEAVE DINGY, LEAVE BOATHOUSE.

Now head E, E and the druid will give you a scroll, READ SCROLL to tell you what you need to do. Continue on N, N, E, E and LASSOO HORSE.

Head to the quarry: W, W, W, W, W, W and EXAMINE QUARRY to find a stone. TIE STONE to get the horse to drag it, then S, S and PLACE STONE to complete the circle.

Finally, INSERT SWORD, WAIT (for the moon to rise) and SAY SWORD (it doesn't actually matter what you say as long as it's a noun).
