Revenge Of Zor

This is the follow up to Ring Of Time. Fortunately some of the problems with the previous adventure have been fixed: objects are highlighted in some cases and single words are now accepted, GET is a synonym for TAKE and the inventory size has been increased. Unfortunately there are still a few invisible objects which you have to guess at.

The light source (the torch) is very limited, so always DROP it after you leave a dark location.

We start in a courtyard. SEARCH COURTYARD and GET ROPE. GO TOWER and GET SANDWICHES, SEARCH GUARD and GET WHISTLE. Go D, N, N to the kitchens and GET MATCHES. Now head back S, W, S, W to the King's Bedroom. KICK the CABINET to reveal a secret drawer. OPEN DRAWER and GET COINS.

Now head E, N, W to the throne room and PULL TORCH to open a secret passage, PULL TORCH again to release it and GET TORCH. GO TUNNEL and GET SWORD, now THROW ROPE, PULL ROPE to remove the grating. GET ROPE, THROW ROPE and CLIMB ROPE to get through the hole.

Head N, W and GET OARS. Go E and N and BLOW WHISTLE, then GET FLYSWATTER. EXAMINE SANDWICH and KILL the FLIES that appear, EAT SANDWICH, GET FLIES, DROP FLYSWATTER.

Now head all the way back to the start (S, S, D, GET ROPE, S, E, E, S) and carry on E, E. GO BOAT, GET NET and ROW BOAT. DROP OARS and U to leave the boat.

DROP COINS, DROP WHISTLE to make some space, then head S, GO CAVE and LIGHT TORCH. Then S, GO STEPS, PUSH WALL, OPEN CHEST and GO CHEST, GET PHIAL. Return to the passageway (U, S, D) and continue S. RUB RING to kill the hydra, DROP RING, then SEARCH WRECKAGE and GET TOOTH.

Go W and THROW ROPE, CLIMB ROPE to get to a cave with bats, THROW NET to catch a bat. GET NET, GET BAT, CUT BAT to get the bat's wing. Now head back to the overgrown path (D, E, N, N, DROP TORCH, GET TORCH, W, N).

GET COINS, GET WHISTLE and continue N, N, W. GIVE COINS to get into the carriage, then BLOW WHISTLE and we're taken elsewhere.

DROP WHISTLE and go E, GO HUT and SEARCH PRIEST, GET SPECTACLES, WEAR SPECTACLES. Go back N, E and DROP FLIES and THROW NET to catch the frog, GET FROG, CUT FROG to get the Frog's leg.

Now go N, GO CHAPEL, PUSH ALTAR to find a secret passage, GO HOLE and GET BOOK, READ BOOK, DROP BOOK, DROP SPECTACLES. The book describes some ingredients for a magic spell, we've gathered all of them, so we just need to make the spell.

Leave the chapel (U, S, W, N) and GO COTTAGE, S where we find a mixing bowl. PUT LEG, PUT TOOTH, PUT PHIAL and PUT WING. Finally PUT SWORD for it to turn into a glowing sword. GET SWORD.

Head out N, E, N and PUSH BOULDER (the sandwiches gave us the strength). GO MINE and LIGHT TORCH. Go N, W, N and DROP TORCH, GET TORCH. Go N, N, E, GO SHED, then GET CASKET, then head S, W, S, W.

We need to cross the lake, but the matches and torch will become wet, so PUT MATCHES, PUT TORCH (into the casket) and SWIM. Go S and GO WATERFALL, GET KEY, then E, N and GO STREAM.

Carry on W, N, UNLOCK DOOR, DROP KEY and GO MILL. DROP CASKET, OPEN CASKET, GET TORCH, GET MATCHES and D, LIGHT TORCH. Finally, N and KILL ZOR.
