"The Master RAM Board has made a great impression in our brief acquaintance, successfully boosting the Electron both in terms of memory and speed. A great little combination."
A&B Computing

"If you need more memory for writing programs to use on your own machine, or for text files, or want to see your programs run at BBC Micro speed, you may consider this a sound investment, but if your interest is in games, I'd think carefully before buying - the novelty of Turbo Snapper will soon wear off."
Acorn User

"The increase in speed provided by the Shadow RAM will also be extremely valuable and the additional feature of the Turbo mode for speeding up games is great."
Electron User

SLOGGER MASTER RAM BOARD
Slogger MRB Installed Inside An Acorn Electron

What It Does

The Slogger Master RAM Board (MRB) is a small unit which fits inside the Acorn Electron and provides two extra 'modes', accessed by a small switch drilled into the left side of casing. The three modes are therefore: Normal (where the MRB is not detected), Turbo (where the MRB is used to share the workload of the CPU and games run at a much faster speed) and Shadow (where the memory usually used for the screen can instead be used as workspace).

The Slogger MRB is practically identical to the Jafa Shadow RAM Board.

The Slogger MRB came supplied with a User Guide and was originally available by mail order only from Slogger for £45.95.
