Drunken Dan, written by Matthew Newman, is one of the few BBC games on new compilation PD GAMES #11 which also works on the Electron, albeit with a slightly dodgy high score table. To compensate, we've cooked up a nice loading screen (pictured right).
Dan has had a bit too much to drink and his Mum won't open the door until he's sober!!
Can you help Dan to get the pills and get home?
Every time Dan gets a pill bottle his inebriation level goes down, but if he hits a drink, it goes up!
If the level gets to zero, then his Mum opens the door and Dan can go home, but if it reaches 100%, he falls down!
You mustn't take too long, otherwise Dan will get arrested for being drunk and disorderly!
Dan can defend himself by squirting drinks with a Soda Syphon, but there is only a limited amount of soda.
Of course, Dan won't learn from his mistakes, and so you must help him night after night!
