Pres Advanced Plus 7

What It Does
The Pres Advanced Plus 7 is a circuit board of 4cm x 5cm. It connects internally to the AP6 and gives several brand new RAM-based utilities that can then be accessed with star commands. The RAM is 'mapped' into the ROM sockets where the AP7 is installed on the AP6. Or, to put it more simply, you can only install four (instead of six) ROM chips in an AP6 when this device is fitted.
The Pres Advanced Plus 7 came supplied with a Installation Guide and was originally available by mail order only from Pres for £45.42.
Artwork And Images
The original Pres Advanced Plus 7 interface connected correctly to sockets 5 and 6 of an AP6 interface (itself installed in a AP1. Note that there remains one empty ROM socket that can be used underneath the AP7, but that the AP7 shields the two empty ROM sockets beneath it and these can no longer be used.
