Thank you for the taster, looks great to me so I've included my £1.00 to prove the point. You've done a good job on this one, a happy mix of programs and good ideas... Apropos your observations of ST/Amiga owners in the reading rooms at WHSmiths, you'll often find me there too. It's not that I can't afford the magazines, it's that I don't want to buy something that is of no use.
There's a gaping hole in the mags market for an adult-orientated Elk/BBC magazine. These are still very popular machines, witness two magazines seeking attention by using the names on their front covers.

Thank you for the kind remarks about EUG #0. I hope that, in the future, EUG can help to plug that hole you speak of. I'm sure we've all thumbed through the odd mag in WHSmiths before now because as you say no one wants to buy a 'pig in a poke'. What gets up my hooter is when five or six spotty 'Erberts stand "Super Sonic Mega Doom Zombie PoleCats From Beyond The Phantom Zone (Part Two)" in very loud voices as if they were the only inhabitants of planet Earth!
When I were a lad if we behaved like that in public, Oliver Cromwell's men would have flogged us to within an inch of our lives! And wine gums were a lot cheaper then too! So there! I was saying to Napoleon only the other day...
