As you may or may not know, although you are indeed reading the second issue of the EUG magazine, it did not originally materialise in electronic format but consisted of sheets of photocopied A4 paper.
However, to save you all needing to type in (and debug!) all the program listings of EUGs #0 to 8 (not to mention have a complete EUG 'collection' in the same format!), all the paper issues were released on disk in the year 2000.
THE BIT AT THE FRONT
Welcome to another brilliant issue of EUG, the only magazine fully supporting the Electron. It arrived (as became a tradition) after a lot of frustration and extremely late. You may find the enclosed photograph (digitised!) to be symbolic of life as EUG editor.
