Puzzle

This was inspired by John's other programs Rubik's Cube and Mastermind. It is programmed in a similar way.

The screen is divided into two sections. The top shows a grid of coloured characters and the bottom shows all white characters as the colours in the top grid are all in the wrong position. The cross in the top part is moveable with the keys Z, X, * and ?. When SPACE is pressed, the colours around the cross are located. If any are then in the correct position, the corresponding character in the bottom grid will turn blue.

The game is to move the colours until all the characters in the lower part have turned blue and all colours are then in the correct place. You will find that you are often left with four colours that do not fit and have to make many swaps before completing the game.
