What It Does
The Advanced Disk Toolkit ROM is a ROM chip and needs to be plugged into an Acorn Electron with an expansion device for ROMs. Examples include Slogger's Rombox and Rombox+ and some other third party cartridges for the Acorn Plus 1.
The Advanced Disk Toolkit ROM adds 32 new star commands to the Electron's Operating System. They can be used with an ADFS 1D00 or a DFS filing system. When first released, these commands also 'patched' nuisances with the ADFS 1D00 system, allowing programs to be loaded into memory locations below &1D00.
