This package introduces the beginner to BBC BASIC as it is provided on the Electron microcomputer. The course takes the reader step-by-step through BASIC, examining each command as it is introduced and incorporates them into projects. These complete programs provide a series of games and utilities that are both useful and good fun for the user.

Among the programs are a number guessing game, a hangman program and space invader games. On the utilities side are a tune composer and a sophisticated database.
