Harlequin

Game Objective

The idea of Harlequin is to discover the whereabouts of the hidden treasure. This is done by collecting enough letters to spell a place.

Every time the game is played, the hiding place is different. 2 or 4 players can play, choosing blue, green, yellow or red pieces.

When landing on a place you can claim one if its letters, but if you land on an opponent's base you forfeit a letter to him.

In this way, you soon have enough letters to spell a place shown on the board. Spell the place and see if it is correct.

Now Find It For Real!

However, there is a real treasure hidden somewhere within mainland Great Britain. All the clues necessary to find it are contained within this game and the accompanying chart. The treasure is not buried or hidden underneath anything. In fact, if you solve Harlequin, only the powers of observation will be necessary at the correct place.

If, whilst playing this game, you think you know where the treasure is, then go and find it - and keep it for yourself!

Remember, you don't need a space to find the treasure. Use your brains and powers of observation...

And be warned, beware of the red fish in the sea.
