G. B. EXPLORER will help you learn the locations of major features of Great Britain. There are three tests based on Towns, National Parks and Downs and surrounding Waters.

Loading Instructions

Rewind tape to the beginning. Press BREAK. Type *RUN GBEXPLORER then press RETURN. The loading process is then automatic.

How To Use

Example: TOWNS (Option Number 1) The screen will show a map of Great Britain with town symbols added and a selection of town names printed on the right. You guess the name of the town you think is nearest the symbol currently flashing on the map. Type in the full name and press RETURN; typing in the full name will also improve your knowledge of the spelling of the towns. If a wrong answer is given, you will have a second chance; failing this you will be shown what town it is. The town name and its appropriate symbol will then disappear from the screen.

When all towns have been questioned, or at any time ESCAPE has been pressed, you will be given a rating from poor to good, depending upon how many questions answered correctly out of the total attempted.

The same method is applied to the two other sections, 'Parks' and 'Waters'.
