Eiffel Tower

"Unless you are really addicted to computer learning, a good phrase book might do just as well."
Electron User

Introduction

Eiffel Tower is a game which teaches and tests your knowledge of French vocabulary. There are two programs, each with different topics, chosen to be useful for tourists and language students alike.

Select a word list from the menu (10 choices on each side - 20 in all.) You will be asked to enter a French word; the number of letters and the English equivalent are displayed as a clue.

Each correct answer completes another stage (day's work) of the Eiffel Tower. The tower is complete after 21 correct answers, and you are rewarded with a musical moving display.

New Word List

You may add your own list of 21 French words to either program. Select option 11 from the menu and follow the instructions given on the screen. When you have entered all 21 words, you have the option to SAVE them (on a new blank tape).

Age Level

These programs are an invaluable aid to children or adults who are learning French. In fact they are useful to anyone - tourists included - who want to brush up their French vocabulary.

Help!

Just press the ESCAPE key to get back to the menu. Then choose a different set of words, or start again!
