What's The Time?

What's The Time?

"If only the screen display could be made a little speedier on occasions, this would be a good piece of software for the parent to use at home."
Electron User

Introduction

This pack consists of a workbook and a cassette to run on your home computer.

The computer is used as a clock and presents a very attractive clock face. Each program begins with an animated mouse, accompanied by music, climbing around the clock - a very modern Hickory Dickory Dock.

The programs each deal with one important area of time:

HOURS Reading and recognising hours
HALFHOURS Reading and understanding half hours
QUARTERS Reading quarter to, quarter past
MINUTES Reading and understanding minutes past and to

Each program begins with the same basic facts and information which enables parents to act as a teacher. Animated exercises then follow guiding the child towards the right answers. At the end of each exercise a score is displayed to add interest and excitement. Work continues in the workbook, enabling the child to make a colourful record of understanding and achievement.
