Philosopher's Stone

Hexagram Of Trutania Valley

Inner Space

"Well worth the money and the best thing Potter has produced to date."

Introduction

Adventure 4 Pack contains four adventures. Each can be selected from a menu and each will work on both the BBC and the Electron.

Hexagram Of Trutania Valley

The idea of this adventure is to find and piece together a hexagram. This is a geometrical shape made of six pieces to construct a hexagon. The pieces are obviously triangles!

Your objective is to save the valley from an evil Count, who is intent on taking control of Trutania. The only way that he can be stopped is by someone reassembling the hexagram.

Unfortunately, the pieces have been scattered all over the valley through the ages. There is also a forged piece which, if placed in the hexagram, will cause an enormous explosion destroying everyone and everything in the valley.

Anything else you find in the valley you may keep. There is a total possible score of 500 points. You may not carry more than five objects at a time.

You must assemble the hexagram in the correct order. This order, and any of the commands that you can use (other than LOAD and SAVE) must be discovered.

If you wish to SAVE your position, then just enter SAVE (RETURN).

If you wish to LOAD your position, then type QUIT (RETURN). You will then be asked if you want to load a saved position.

Inner Space

There are no instructions for this game. Good luck.

Philosopher's Stone

You are Daverick Harpmoon, a skilled adventurer on a quest to find the fabled Philosopher's Stone. This is a rare substance, long sought by alchemists, which will change base metals into gold and also produce the elixir of life (that is, confer eternal youth).

Useful Words

QUIT - Allows you to start a new game.
INVENTORY (INV) - Lists all the objects you are carrying.
SAVE - Saves your position to tape. When QUIT is typed, you will be given the option to load a saved game.
HELP - Lists all the verbs the computer understands.

Stranded On Iloofrax

You had been working on a new form of teleport in your laboratory in London for nearly a year when you decided that it was ready for its final test.

After setting the co-ordinates on the machine for the other side of the room, you stepped in front of the beam of white light and disappeared.

A few seconds later, you materialised, expecting to see the grey walls of your lab, but instead you found yourself in a dense jungle on the small planet of Iloofrax...

Moving About

You can move about on the planet by typing the first letter of a compass direction, e.g. S for South.

Objects can be picked up and dropped using GET and DROP followed by a noun.

You can get a list of all the available verbs by typing HELP.

You can save your position in the game by typing SAVE GAME after inserting a blank tape. This short file can be loaded back by typing LOAD GAME.

To end the game, type QUIT.
