Money Matters - Learn about money the fun way!

A great introduction to currency. The suite of four colourful programs use a circus theme to keep children entertained for hours as they learn all about British money.

Cozmo's Coins : Here's a clown who knows the name of every British coin from 1p to £2. He wants to make sure that children do too. Cozmo really makes discovering currency fun.

Boingy : Adding coins together is Boingy's speciality. He asks children to try to find the single coin that is the same value as the ones he shows. He gives them lots of help if they have any problems.

Fizzy Pop : Calculating the correct change is important when you're shopping. Fizzy sells chews, drinks and ice cream - children have to help him give the correct coins as change.

Piggy Bank : Toothy thinks of a number of pence and knows exactly which coins add up to it. Children have to work out which coins he's thinking of and press the right ones on the Money Matters keyboard.

The MONEY MATTERS Keyboard Overlay
Money Matters is supplied with an easily attached keyboard overlay designed by Triple R Education to help children build up their coin recognition skills. They can now answer questions by pressing the appropriate coin rather than be limited by the design of a conventional keyboard. The overlay can easily be removed when it is not required.

A Unique Educational Concept
Money Matters has been carefully designed by teachers to help children to progress from their first encounter with coins, right through the early stages of the National Curriculum. It covers many important areas both for this and for everyday life.

Children using Money Matters will learn many currency facts including: how to recognise coins, how to use them in simple contexts, how they can solve problems involving different sums of money to name just a few.
